Overview
The AI CV Parsing feature uses OpenAI GPT-4o to automatically extract structured information from candidate CVs, reducing manual data entry and keeping candidate profiles consistent.
How It Works
Process Flow
- Upload CV - You upload a PDF file
- Text Extraction - System extracts text from your PDF
- AI Analysis - AI analyzes the CV content
- Data Extraction - AI identifies and extracts candidate information
- Profile Creation - Candidate profile is automatically created
- CV Attachment - Original CV is attached to the profile
- Your file is securely uploaded
- Processing happens in the background
- Status updates appear in the upload panel
- Completed uploads open the new candidate profile
- Name - Full candidate name
- Email - Email address (if present)
- Phone - Phone number (if present)
- Location - City/country
- Summary - 2-3 sentence professional summary
- Generated from CV content
- Highlights key experience and skills
- Skills Array - Technical and professional skills
- Extracted from CV sections
- Normalized and deduplicated
- Includes both hard and soft skills
- Experience Array - Each entry includes: - Job title - Company name - Duration/date range - Description/responsibilities
- Education Array - Each entry includes: - Degree/qualification - Institution name - Year/date
